Final versions of accepted papers (for regular sessions, special sessions and workshops) must be submitted on EDAS for inclusion in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore. Before paper submission on EDAS, one of the paper authors must register to the conference. The WPMC2014 Organising Committee reserves the right not to include in IEEE Xplore papers that are not presented at the workshop. Please follow these steps:

1. Paper Revision

Follow the reviewers recommendations for revising your paper and preparing the final version. Make sure that your paper follows the formatting requirements based on IEEE templates.

2. Conference Registration

The presenting author must register for the conference before submitting the final paper to EDAS. To register please go to the Registration page of the conference. Please note that if you are a student registering your paper you have to be the first author of that paper. For the next step you will need the registration code ("Registration Number") that you will receive in the confirmation e-mail at the end of the registration process.

3. Copyright Form

To record the copyright form for your paper, please complete the following steps:

  1. Download the copyright form from CopyrightForm
  2. Fill in your paper information, sign, and scan the copyright form
  3. Upload the scanned copy to the "Copyright form" entry of your paper in EDAS

4. Paper Submission on EDAS

Your camera-ready paper must be submitted on EDAS  in order to be included in the conference proceedings. The maximum number of pages is 6. 

To submit your camera-ready paper, please go to EDAS, log into your paper page, and click on the upload link under "Final manuscript". Follow the instructions provided on EDAS. Please note that you will need your "Registration Number" at this step. You are also required to complete the Copyright form before submission.

Please use IEEE PDF Express to check the IEEE Xplore compatibility of the PDF files and to provide assistance to authors to correct any problems with the files. For problems related to PDF compliance you can consult the EDAS FAQ which can be found in the manuscript row after the format error message.  The following additional guidelines have been provided by EDAS admin:

  • use the most current version of Microsoft Word, which will help reduce word-to-pdf conversion issues such as embedded fonts, bookmarks, etc
  • no page numbers and no headers/footers
  • a non-zero PDF top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches) to help indicate if there are any page numbers

5. Creating your PDF eXpress Account

Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site http://www.pdf-express.org/

First-time users should do the following:

  1. Enter the following:
  2. Select the New Users - Click Here link.
    1. 33242X for the Conference ID
    2. your email address
    3. a password
  3. Continue to enter information as prompted.

An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.

Previous users of PDF eXpress need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
